EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC. Facing crowned bust in tressure of arches, Lis on neck and pellets by crown.
Reverse:
POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM, CIVITAS LONDON. Long cross pattée dividing the legend, with three pellets in each angle.
Some light ghosting otherwise about very fine, rich cabinet tone and a rare mule.
With ticket, in cursive handwriting, noting ?John/Joseph? 20.9.72 (presumably 1872).
