Delivery and Returns

Payments

We accept PayPal, bank transfer (GBP and EUR) and cheque (UK and GBP only).

UK orders

Orders are usually dispatched the same day if cleared payment is received before 1pm, and are shipped with online tracking and appropriate insurance.

- For orders under £50, items will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked 24 for £3.85, unless requested otherwise.

- Orders between £50 and £500 can be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed by 1pm) for £8.75, or Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature for £5.55. You can choose your preferred option at checkout.

- Orders £500 and above will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge.

Postal fees are calculated at or below cost, there are no packing fees. We recommend grouping items into a single order to combine postage costs. Special care is taken to protect the coins while in transit and are fully insured.

US Tariffs & Shipping

All of our coins are currently exempt from US tariffs, although customs regulations may change and are outside of our control.

Due to recent changes in US customs procedures, shipping methods now depend on the order value:

Orders under £580 (approximately $800 USD)

These are shipped via Royal Mail International Tracked, which is then handled by USPS once in the US. Customs processing is completed at the point of dispatch in the UK, which helps ensure a smoother and faster clearance process. The total cost is £11.10, which includes the customs processing fee. Shipping is free for orders over £500.

Orders over £580

Orders above this value are shipped via UPS Express Saver® at a subsidised rate of £18. Please note that PO Box addresses are not accepted for UPS shipments. While no tariffs are due, UPS shipments may occasionally require clarification or correction during customs processing.

Orders over $2,500 USD

For purchases exceeding $2,500, we again ship via UPS although US customs requires a 'formal customs entry'. In these cases, a standard processing fee may apply, typically under $50. UPS will also require the recipient to provide a Tax ID or Social Security Number (SSN) in order to complete customs clearance. These requirements are set by US customs and the courier and are outside of our control.

Rest of the World

Orders placed for delivery outside the UK will be sent via Royal Mail International Tracked.

Orders under £500 will cost £9.95 for Europe and £11.15 for the rest of the world.

Orders at and over £500 will be sent for free.

Delivery time is estimated from Royal Mail at:

Two working days after posting to western Europe

Four working days after posting to eastern Europe and postal subsidiaries (islands and principalities)

Six working days after posting to the rest of the world. (We have encountered longer shipping times to Australia and have known coins to take up to 20 days to arrive)

Customs declarations will be completed where required and any associated import duties/fees/VAT are the responsibility of the buyer (in the many cases there are either no or reduced fees due on numismatic items)

Returns

All coins are unconditionally guaranteed genuine.

All coins are sent on a 14 day approval (starting the day you receive the coin), if you are not happy with the purchase we offer a no quibble returns policy.

In the event you wish to return the coin, it must be returned via a fully trackable and insured postal service (at your cost) and be in the same condition as it was received.
