Obverse:

HENRICVS [REX]. Facing crowned bust, sceptre in right hand, star to left.

 

Reverse:

PVLFPA[RD] ON LVND. Quatrefoil with star in centre and pellets on limbs, four lis around.

 

Very fine, toned and rare. Allen dies Aa, with just three examples known: a find from St Paul’s Church, Winchester in 1972 (EMC 1977.0219); an example in the D. Walker collection, illustrated by Allen (number 443); and the Carlyon-Britton example (number 442), which is almost certainly this coin.
