PILLELM REX. Crowned, facing bust with sceptre to right.

Reverse:

ED[PI]NE ON CICESI. Cross pattée with annulet P A X S in angles.

A little weak in part otherwise very fine, toned and rare. There were only two moneyers working at Chichester for the PAXS coinage: this moneyer and Brunman. Same dies as SCBI 42 South-Eastern Museums, number 1793.
