OPOID EDINB. Large crowned thistle head.
Good fine or better, especially for this issue and rare. This example is superior to the current Spink plate coin and of equal quality to the single SCBI 35 (Ashmolean Museum) example, which also originated from the same lot in the Lingford sale of 1951.
