IACOBVS DIE GRACIA REX COT RV. Crowned half-left bust with arched crown. Annulet on inner circle, in front of the bust.

Reverse:

D[NS P]ROTEOR MET CRATO, VILLA EDINBVRG. Long cross, crowns and three pellets with annulet in alternate angles.

About very fine and a good example of this iconic issue of James III. Same die pair as Burns plate XLVIII - figure 643.
