Ex Millenium Hoard

The Millennium Hoard was discovered in East Anglia in 2017, beneath the remains of a Saxon church believed to have been demolished shortly after the Norman Conquest. The hoard comprised 99 coins, including 81 pence and 18 cut halfpence, representing a variety of eastern mints and with a suggested deposition date of before 1003. It was disclaimed under the Treasure Act in 2019 and subsequently dispersed through DNW later that year.
