Obverse:
EDPARDD REX. Crowned and bearded bust r. with sceptre in front.
Reverse:
GARVLF ON PIHREC. Small cross voided with each limb terminating in an incurved crescent.
Small indent on King's shoulder and a few light mark otherwise good very fine, richly toned and exceptionally rare. Just two examples traced by Freeman, one in the Hunterian Museum (SCBI 2 - number 1137) and one other available to commerce, which was in the Spurway collection, sold through Glendinings Auction, 9 Apr 1984 - Lot 152.
