Obverse:

HE[-NRI-]C DI [E/G] REX ANGL Z FRANC DNS HYB. Facing, crowned king standing in ship, holding sword and shield quartered with arms of England and France. Annulet by sword arm, large trefoil stops, including one stop after HE.

Reverse:

ICH AVT TRANSIENS PER MEDIVM IB[-]O[-]V[-] Floriated cross with lis at ends, crowned lions between, h to centre surrounded by treasure of eight arches. Annulet in one spandrel, annulet stops. Legend starts at 7 o’clock.

Edge damage with small section reattached on one side, the base core material eroded in part and cracks in gold plating otherwise very fine details. A very interesting contemporary forgery showing extremely competent die cutting skills.
