Obverse:

HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC. Crowned facing bust in tressure of arches, saltire on breast.

Reverse:

POSVI DEVM ADIVTORE MEVM, CIVITAS LONDON. Long cross pattée dividing the legend, with three pellets in each angle, extra annulets two quarters. Sliced 'P' in POSVI.

About very fine, the saltire on the breast unpublished and currently unique.

There has been suggestions and debate that the earliest annulet issue coins of Calais were being produced during the last few weeks of Henry V's reign. It's also a similar situation with London coins with the rare Henry V style pierced cross mintmark and this coin may provide a link between the issues and it is conceivable to tentatively attribute this to the final London coinage of Henry V. Overall an interesting coin and worthy of further research, linking and following the breast mark coins of Henry V and a certain collection highlight for the groat collector.
