Two opposed crescents emblem with two pellets between set on vertical wreath.

Reverse:

Globular horse right, large oval head with pellet for eye, S below head, wreath-like mane, two pellets below tail, pelleted sun above, two pellets and ED below.

Good very fine and rare, struck from the same die pair and arguably superior to the ABC plate coin. Only 29 examples are recorded on the Celtic Coin Index, compared with 146 examples of the Edn type (ABC 1672), also listed as Spink 444.
