A few light marks and patchy tone, very fine or better and extremely rare, even more so in this condition. The finest example we have traced on the market, superior to the Comber (lots 60, 162, 163, 428), Wilkinson (lots 26, 526), Lockett (lot 2032), Hulett (lot 350), Carlyon-Britton and Shuttlewood (lot 314 - our ref G1986) specimens.
