Reverse:

SCVTVM FIDEI PROTEGET EAM. Crowned square topped shield, E and R at sides.

Light scratches on face and field in front buffed otherwise better than good very fine, full flan, well centred, highly detailed, lustrous reverse. An exceptionally sharp example of this large gold piece. Much better in hand.
